Perseverance - Derek Redmond

A video that illustrates perserverance to the extreme. Derek Redmond, pulls up in the finals of the 400m race, at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic games. Redmond ended up tearing his hamstring shortly after the race started. He was ont eh worlds biggest stage though and was determined to finish the race. A helping hand from his Father is all he needed to finish. He didn't end up with a medal, but he did end up with the largest ovation of those Olympics and a legacy of ultimate perserverance.
